Dreamscape: cave

This painting is based on a memory of a dream instead of reference photo.

You make your way to the edge of the lake, careful to keep your shoes dry. Enclosed, you feel a sense of safety in the cave. You can’t be seen from the outside and you’ll notice people coming with plenty of time to find a hiding place. What you don’t know is if there was already somebody in the cave when you entered. Could they be watching you from the dark?
